MISTA 2011 Sponsorship Opportunities

Scheduling Problems can be found everywhere within a wide range of industrial areas. An important aim of MISTA is to address these problems by encouraging the developing and reporting of innovative leading edge optimisation techniques. An increasingly essential component of research in this area is the need to engage industry in tackling the complexity inherent in industrial problems.

The 2011 conference will be the 5th in the series. Previous conferences were held in Nottingham (2003), New York (2005), Paris (2007) and Dublin (2009). The conference attracts world leading researchers from around the world. Previous conferences have attracted about 120 delegates and we would expect to attract similar numbers for the 2011 conference.

For the 2011 conference we are particularly interested in having industrialists participate in the conference, either by attendance or through sponsorship

As a company, you will have the opportunity to have your name associated with leading edge research in the area of Scheduling. Also, you will have the undivided attention of over 100 leading experts in the research field with the potential for collaboration on existing and new innovative projects.

We will publish the various sponsorship packages available nearer the conference, but feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss how you can interact with the conference.

Please contact Barry McCollum (b.mccollum@qub.ac.uk) (MISAT Industrial Chair) or Graham Kendall (gxk@cs.nott.ac.uk) (MISTA Founding Chair) if you require any further information
